Salary: £150 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream academy in Hull that is seeking to appoint a History Teacher. The school is committed to providing a high-quality education within a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The academy is looking to take on a full-time History Teacher on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful History Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning whilst supporting student progress and achievement.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching History across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A good understanding of the secondary History curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
